The Recalculate GL Summary screen allows you to recalculate GL Summaries. If you make a change to one or more accounting periods in Fiscal Periods, then the account summaries for each account in the Chart of Accounts must be recalculated.

You may either recalculate the account summaries at the time the periods are changed, or you may use the Recalculate Accounts function instead.

This screen allows you to recalculate based on various filters such as year, period and location/division.

You must run the FULL year, not doing periods by periods.

and after you complete the recalculation you must run the close a year for the prior year and if you have a year after you close the year for the next year….
