The Chart of Accounts selection enables you to enter accounts in the Chart of Accounts file. In addition to entering accounts, you can:
- Print a list of the accounts.
- Enter an unlimited number of notes about each account.
- Display a summary of account activity, by period, for each account in the Chart of Accounts.
- Recalculate account summaries.
- Enter budget figures.
- Enter comparative figures to generate reports (both actual and budget).
The upper section allows you to filter the chart of accounts based on your preferences. In this section, you can filter based on vendor, date, customer, credit amount among other filters. You can also sort based on ascending or descending order, Journal No. etc.
The lower section represents a scrollable Journal List. This is a list of all the accounts including details about account number, account description, account type etc.
Account No: This represents the account numbers of various accounts in the chart of accounts
Inactive: This indicates whether the account is active or dormant
Account Description: This is detailed information on the accounts
Finance Type: This describes the financial statement type whether balance sheet, P&L etc
Statement Account Type: This describes whether this is a revenue or liability account
Balance Type: This describes whether this is a debit or credit account
Summary Type: This describes if the account is a summary or detailed account
Notes: This is additional details on the account.
