The GL Summary screen enables you to view actual/budget reports, or Comparatives. Comparatives refer to historical data from some previous year that you wish to compare to the current year. You may retain these on file as long as you wish.

The upper section of the screen allows you to filter based on the year or division.

The lower section contains a summary of the general ledger accounts.

General Ledger Year: The accounting period for the GL

Acct no: The account numbers for various accounts in the GL

Store ID: The unique store identifiers

Beginning Balance Dollars : The balance for the accounts at the start of the accounting period in dollars

Beginning Balance Quantity: the quantity held in various stores at the beginning of accounting period
